DESCRIPTION:PTMA at ETTA National Conference 2025\nPTMA is proud to support the ETTA National Conference 2025 — a leading annual event for engineering educators\, students\, and technology professionals across Ireland. The two-day conference focuses on advancing technical education\, exploring emerging technologies\, and building stronger industry–education partnerships. \nAs part of our commitment to education and skills development in the precision engineering sector\, PTMA will be exhibiting in partnership with Alpha Mill CNC to present the CNC in Schools programme. \nCNC in Schools: Bridging Education and Industry\nAt our stand\, attendees will experience live demonstrations of CNC machinery designed for classroom use. This initiative is giving students across Ireland a practical introduction to computer numerical control (CNC) technology — developing real-world skills aligned with the needs of modern manufacturing. \nWe’ll be offering guidance to schools and educators on: \n\nHow to integrate CNC technology into the existing curriculum\nAccessing funding and support through PTMA\nReal case studies of successful school–industry collaboration\n\nOur mission is to support schools in delivering hands-on\, meaningful STEM education that connects students directly to the technologies shaping Ireland’s industrial future. \nWhat to Expect at the PTMA + Alpha Mill CNC Stand\n\nLive CNC machine demos for teachers and students\nResources and advice on adopting CNC in the classroom\nIndustry insights from PTMA members and educators already running the programme\nInformal conversations on building future-ready engineering pathways\n\nWhy Attend the ETTA Conference?\nThe ETTA National Conference is Ireland’s flagship event for technology and engineering educators.
